Atheists: Why do you accept totalising narratives at all?

I'm impressed, first intelligent question I've seen all week. You're quite right, science does have bias. Pharmaceutical companies particularly but even university based science has bias - academics need funding. I think a lesson is to be learned from history here. You evaluate every source's reliability. Sources with bias are not neccessarily discounted, just adjusted based on that bias. I don't see any major gains for scientists if I believe in evolution. The church does however stand to gain.
