Can it be said that Jesus WAS spreading the WORD of God? He is not God?

Jesus said "Ye are all gods" He wasn't claiming to be anything special or superior, He came as a wayshower to empower us not to dis-empower us. We are all made of Godstuff, the difference is Jesus knew this.
