If the Word of God is infallible, why has the bible been revised?

No one has the right to completely change the Bible, that's why many Christians don't accept mormonism as a branch of christianity. By revised, that means that the Bible is being translated to a more understandable english(like how in shakespeare it's difficult to understand the different words, but as time goes on the language changes)
