While the House reads the Constitution today, do you think anybody will get confused about the 14th Amendment?

The 14th Amendment, which was passed just after the Civil War, was supposed to be addressing the newly freed slaves and their children even though it does not specifically say so. It was not meant to grant citizenship to anchor babies.
