Are African-Americans a liability in desert warfare?

This is a legit question and is not intended to be racist, though I'm sure some people will try to construe it as such. White people's skin is similar in color to the desert area, giving them a natural camouflage. Black skin color sharply contrasts with the color of the desert sand and rocks. Do black people stand out more while in the desert, making them more easily spotted by the enemy? Do white troops dislike going on patrol with black troops because they feel like they may give away their position?
